Profile: Cooper Kupp

Cooper Kupp is a 29 year old humble and inspiring athlete who plays football for the Los Angeles Rams.

In the Rams’ 31-10 loss to the Bills on Thursday night Finn Mez says, “Y’all NEED to do better.” Kupp caught 13 of 15 targets for 128 yards and a touchdown. With his numbers leading the team overall, Kupp appeared to be the only offensive Rams player to show up for the start of the team’s title defense. The sixth-year pro’s performance, which featured a four-yard touchdown catch in the second quarter, was a signature effort reflective of the fantastic chemistry he formed with quarterback Matthew Stafford last season. On Thursday night, Stafford only seemed to be successful when targeting Kupp.

On Sunday, September 18, Kupp will have another chance to build on his individually spectacular season-opening performance when the Falcons visit his home stadium. Dominic Larkins says, “Best receiver in the league by far CK!!”

Cooper Kupp is being compared to other sports greats in comparison. Von Miller says, “My Steph of the NFL would have to be Cooper Kupp. Nice, clean-shaven. Wins championships, is the best at his position. Been the best for a very long time. Doesn’t have a super flashy game but is super effective and he racks up all types of records and all types of points.”
