Inside Out 2

New things might be scary, but new entertainment could be interesting.

Amy Poehler, the voice of Joy in the 2015 movie “Inside Out,” has announced that Disney’s Pixar is making a sequel to the Oscar-winning blockbuster.  Disney and Pixar’s Inside Out 2 releases in the Summer of 2024 online in theaters.

“Inside Out 2” will focus on the protagonist, Riley, and her teenage years as she goes through puberty, starting at 15. The movie will focus on her older teenage years and her life throughout high school.

“Omg for real? I’m super excited to watch that,” said Riley.

Pixar movie’s original cast will be returning for the sequel. Amy Poehler, Phyllis Smith, Mindy Kaling, Lewis Black, and Bill Hader will supposedly return as Joy, Sadness, Disgust, Anger, and Fear. However, there will also be lots of new additions to the cast.

“‘Inside Out’ was such a good and sad movie. I hope ht second one is like that,” Says Jaden.

For “Inside Out,” there has not been a trailer posted, just a few details about what the sequel will be based on.

The original film was based on the main character and her emotions. These emotions were known as Joy (Poehler), Fear (Bill Hader), Anger (Lewis Black), Disgust (Mindy Kaling), and Sadness (Phyllis Smith)—controlled the thoughts and feelings inside her mind.

“These movies aren’t just for kids that’s for sure,” Says Morgan.
