Are you scared of sharks? Well, scientists might have just spotted a 50-foot plus megalodon shark. This so-called megalodon shark was spotted in the northwest Atlantic.

It’s not yet confirmed but FOX says “The Atlantic Shark Institute shared the image captured on its fish finder to its social media accounts, saying researchers estimated the apparent megalodon to be about 50 feet long and weigh 40 tons.”

There have been numerous so-called meg sightings over the years and none of them has ever been confirmed, so this one might be a stretch. Or these megs could just be really good at hiding because eighty percent of the ocean is still unexplored. “So close, but so far!” it continued.

“The Megalodon (Otodus megalodon), disappeared more than 3 million years ago and will likely stay that way, but, for a few minutes, we thought he had returned!” FOX.
