Sam Felstead, and cat Billy which saved Sam’s life by waking her up during a hear attack by sitting on her chest. Aug 17 2022. See SWNS story SWLNcat. A hero cat saved his owner’s life by pounding his paws on her chest to wake her up after she suffered a heart attack. Sam Felstead, 42, was asleep when she was woken by her seven-year-old cat Billy at 4.30am. She realised she was unable to move her body and had a shooting pain down her right side so called out to her mum Karen for help. Sam, a receptionist at Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham, was rushed to hospital by Karen in the early hours of August 8.

Sam cat billy is like a alarm that woke her up when she needed to be.

Sam Flestead was at home with her cat,4:30am her cat Billy. She was trying to get up but she relized she had a sharp pain going up to down from her right side thats when she relized she coulnt get up nor move her body.

She got rushed to the hospital the doctors told her she had a heart attack.

Sam said and I quote “Suddenly I woke up and billy was on my chest and was meowing loudly in my ear”.

“I do believe he probably did save her life because that’s what enabled her to get medical help

I believe if the cat Billy didn’t wake Sam up that she may have could of died from a heart attack she says her alarm wasn’t gonna go off until another 2 hours maybe the cat did save her life

“He’s not a lap cat… and he’s certainly not a cat that wants to be on your knee all the time. He likes to be alone

This cat is different he knew when his owner was in pain and didn’t stop bugging her until she woke up.
