Founder of Rockstar Cheer being accused of sexual abuse towards cheer athletes commits suicide

Scott Foster, the founder of Rockstar Cheer of Greer, South Carolina, commits suicide due to getting caught sexually abusing the athletes in the cheer program in August of 2022.

The Department of Homeland Security was already investigating Foster until he committed suicide. Police are saying he was found dead in his car from a self-imposed gunshot wound on August 22nd.

“What really drove me was working with young people and making a positive impact on their lives,” Foster said.

Foster’s investigation was part of a larger investigation of Rockstar Cheer in 2017. Due to this incident in 2017 Rockstar Cheer was on probation from 2017-2021.

“Wow that’s interesting to hear, I wanna know more,” Farah Gardner says.
