USC Women’s National Champions
The USC women’s basketball team won the final of NCAA tournament against UConn.
From the moment the game began USC showed that they were there to win last night.
“I’ve been thinking about it since last season, everyone had a picture of me crying. But today we’re national champions and I’m in tears,” Boston said.
The team’s star player was Boston with more than twenty points scored herself.
“I know our players were exhausted, but they were determined to be champions today,” said South Carolina coach Dawn Staley.
The teams played against each other in the NCAA was in 2018 in the finals when UConn beat South Carolina. The final score was 64-49 USC wins.
“I thought our players were just really resilient,” said Staley.
