The new “Scream” movie (Scream 5) was released on January 14, 2022, and I recently watched it. The new movie is 25 years later after the brutal murders from the first killer Billy Loomis a new killer dons the Ghostface mask and begins targeting a group of teenagers to resurrect secrets from the town’s deadly past.

There are returning characters from the first movie like Gale weathers, Dwight “Dewey” Riley, Sydney Prescott, and new characters like Tara and Sam Carpenter. 

My opinion on the movie, no spoilers, I thought it was more funny than scary. I really liked the movie and I liked the concept of everything, also, the number of plot twists was really surprising.

I suggest people watch this movie if you have nothing better to do, I think it’s still in theaters and I think It is worth the time and money, but that is up to you.
