6 high school students killed in Oklahoma crash with semi truck

6 high school students were heading off campus to get lunch but traffic had other plans.
Jonathan says, “ dang they were so young.”
The six girls left school to go grab a bite to eat but they collided with a semi-truck.
The Oklahoma Department of Public Safety, said “the students — all-girls — died after a crash between their small passenger vehicle and the truck in Tishomingo at 12:30 p.m.”
Only 2 of the girls were wearing seatbelts, the truck driver was wearing a seatbelt and was uninjured.
Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt called it a “sad day” for the state and said that “he and his wife were mourning for the girls and praying for their families.”
