Performers for the Upcoming Grammy’s

The Grammy’s won’t be till next month but the excitement for the most influential artist to perform has started now.

This year the grammy’s will be held in Las Vegas and it will air live on April 3 from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on CBS and Paramount+. The Recording Academy announced the first slate of performers on Tuesday, which  includes Olivia Rodrigo, BTS, Billie eilish, Brandi Carlile, Brothers Osborne and Lil Nas X with Jack Harlow.

“I would be most excited to see Doja cat because she always kills it and has incredible performances,” says Emily.

The Grammys shifted to Las Vegas due to the rising COVID-19 cases and the omicron variant in January, with organizers stating that there were “too many risks” to host a performance-filled ceremony at the time. But now with the new schedule many are excited to see how the event will go.

“I wish I could use some other artist to perform, but I am still excited for the event. I would say I’m most excited for Olivia Rodrigo.

Trevor Noah will be hosting again for the second time. The artist Jon Batiste is the leading nominee with 11 nods in a variety of genres including R&B, jazz, American roots music, classical and music video. Justin Bieber, Doja Cat and H.E.R. are tied for the second-most nominations with eight apiece.

“Omg I’m so excited for the grammy,” says Kayla
