State Of Union Speech

The three most important topics President Joe Biden discussed in last night’s State of the Union address were covid, american unity, and Russia invading Ukraine.

Biden said, “For more than two years, COVID-19 has impacted every decision in our lives and the life of the nation. And I know you’re tired, frustrated and exhausted. … Because of the progress we’ve made, because of your resilience and the tools we have been provided by this Congress, tonight I can say we are moving forward safely, back to more normal routines.”

This is important because the government is finally allowing the citizens of the US to move past it. I agree with this because as long as we take minimal precaution I believe we will be fine thru the remainder of the pandemic.

Biden said, “Let’s stop seeing each other as enemies, and start seeing each other for who we really are: fellow Americans.”

This is important because it affects all of America and its citizens. I agree with this because we are better together than separated.

Biden said, “Putin may circle Kyiv with tanks, but he will never gain the hearts and souls of the Ukrainian people.”

This is important because Ukraine is one of the top world producers of natural resources. I agree with this because, I don’t want another war and i’m tired of living through historic events.
