State if the Union Response

The three most important topics that President Joe Biden discussed in last nights State of the Union addresses were Ukraine, Covid 19,and Economy.

“Six days ago, Putin sought to shake the very foundations of a free world, thinking he could make it bend to his menacing ways. But he badly miscalculated. He thought he could roll into Ukraine and the world will roll over. Instead, he met with a wall of strength he never anticipated or imagined — he met Ukrainian people,” Biden said.

This is important because especially for people who are my age we have never seen anything like this before in our life time. I agree because Russia through they were going to go into Ukraine and completely take over but little did they know the Ukrainian people were putting up a fight.

“As our own vaccine supply grows to meet our needs — and we are meeting them — we will become an arsenal of vaccines for other countries, just as America was the arsenal of democracy in World War II,” said Biden.

This is important because Covid 19 has taken over the country since I have been in high school. All three years so far have been overtaken by covid. I agree because President Biden touched on how America will be ready to fight Covid and be ready if a new variety happens.

“Wall Street didn’t build this country. The middle class built this country. And unions build the middle class. And that’s why I’m calling on Congress to pass the Protecting the Right to Organize Act — the PRO Act — and send it to my desk to support the right to unionize,” says Biden

This is important because gas prices have been so high in the last few weeks. President Biden said that he will fix the economy. I disagree with this because before Biden was president inflation was never this high before. I hope that it will soon be down and more affordable then it is now.
