A hunting trip turned tragic..

A group of young teenage boys were aboard a plane when it crashed near the outer banks last Monday.

The three boys were on their way to a youth hunting day in Hyde County, North Carolina. Two other people were on the plane too when it crashed.

Maddie Stevens says, “It is very unfortunate that these boys crashed before they got a chance to go duck hunting.”

Another incident happened on the same day but leaving Hyde County. A businessman and his wife were leaving the duck hunting weekend when their plane crashed a little outside of the county. The coastguard continues to investigate the scene where the plane crashed.

Lauren Steele says “This accident is an awful tragedy that no one should ever have to face, I hope people consider this when flying privately.”

I hope that people will realize that it might be better to drive or fly publicly when going short distances. A lot of these tragedies can be avoided by thinking more about travel ways.
